You can import your customers contacts into My DSO Manager
These are people outside your company who are your contacts for debt recovery. These are usually accountants, purchasers, managers and financial directors.
In My DSO Manager
, they are attached to a particular customer and appear in the customer sheet.
When sending an email, the customer account's contacts are proposed as recipients. For automatic reminders
, emails are sent to the contact that is identified as « Contact for collection. »
How to import its contacts?
First step, create a .csv, xls or .txt file. containing information relating to your contacts.
It is necessary to have at least the following information:
This are the minimum information required in order the contact is created. It is important that the phone number, email address... are indicated to take advantage of advanced features of My DSO Manager.
Then go to the Settings / Import - Export your data
then select your file to import.
Then check the box « Contacts » and click the « Submit » button.
Then, match each column of your file with fields of My DSO Manager then click the « Submit » button.
Set in your import file who is your collection contact for each client by adding a column and then by filling '1' when it is the case. Then associate that information with the field 'Contact for collection'. They will thus be defined as primary contact for the recovery in the customer record.
This setting should be performed for the first import. The following will be automatically integrated by the tool as soon as your file format is identical.
Each new import adds new contacts and do not update those already present in the application. Modifications of contacts are made directly in the customer sheet in My DSO Manager.
It's possible to find all your contacts and customer details from My DSO Manager
in your email messenger (Outlook, Gmail...), on your phone, ... by synchronizing My DSO Manager
