AI Search & Assign - Use Cases and Strategy Examples

The AI Search & Assign feature allows you to automatically, dynamically, and intelligently assign and configure customer accounts based on the data available in My DSO Manager.

It helps optimize your credit management, collection strategies, and real-time reporting.

Available functionalities


  • Assignment of the Collection scenario
  • Assignment of the Collector
  • Assignment to one or more customer groups
  • Assignment of internal stakeholders (sales, order processing, etc.)
  • Activation/deactivation of:
    • Interactive emails
    • Capture email reply
    • Late payment penalties
    • Fixed recovery cost
    • DCL or ND cover (if credit insurer connector is used)

Three levels of assignment



1. Simple assignments

They are based on stable criteria:
  • Industry sector
  • Customer type (public/private, internal segmentation)
  • Payment method or terms
  • Geographic region
  • Risk score or insurance guarantees
  • Payer profile
  • Dunning channel available (email or not)

2. Evolving assignments

These assignements are based on a combination of variable criteria:
  • Payment delays greater than 30 days
  • Deteriorating payer profile
  • Decreasing risk score

Example: assign a « High Risk Clients » scenario and add to the relevant group.


3. Advanced assignments

These are based on a combination of several variable criteria and allow multiple assignments:
  • Assign a specific dunning scenario + enable penalties + assign a specialized collection officer
  • Create custom scoring models (internal and external data)
  • Dynamically create customer groups and assign portfolios accordingly

Example: automatically enable recovery compensation for clients with more than 30 days overdue:

  1. Create a saved search filtering these clients
  2. Automatic Assignments

Recommendations
  • Use stable criteria whenever possible
  • Combine multiple criteria to reduce volatility
