My DSO Manager Connect: Two UK Workshops in Manchester and Leeds, Followed by the Credit & Collections Technology Awards 2026 Martedì, Novembre 3 2026 da My DSO Manager On 16 and 17 November 2026, My DSO Manager is hosting two My DSO Manager Connect events in Manchester and Leeds, at PwC. Credit management, finance and Order-to-Cash professionals will come together for customer experiences, expert contributions, including the Office of the Small Business Commissioner, and collaborative workshops on credit risk management, collections effectiveness, dispute resolution and working capital performance. The week will conclude on 19 November in Manchester with the Credit & Collections Technology Awards 2026, organised by Credit Connect, where My DSO Manager has been shortlisted in three categories. My DSO Manager Connect Manchester: Customer Experience, Credit Intelligence and Collections Performance 📅 Monday 16 November 2026 🕙 10:00-14:30 📍 PwC Manchester The Manchester workshop will place particular emphasis on real-world customer experiences, connected credit intelligence and the operational challenges facing credit management teams. Rather than focusing exclusively on technology, the programme will examine how organisations implement new approaches, engage their teams and translate improved visibility into measurable business outcomes. Learning from real customer experiences A central feature of the Manchester program will be the participation of Flowtech and PyroGuard, two My DSO Manager customers sharing their implementation journeys, operational experiences and lessons learned. Their contributions will provide an opportunity to explore how different organisations approach credit management transformation, from initial implementation and user adoption to day-to-day processes and business performance. These experiences will be complemented by targeted demonstrations from the My DSO Manager team, connecting the challenges discussed by customers with practical platform capabilities. Connecting risk intelligence with operational decisions The program will also welcome Coface, bringing expertise in credit risk intelligence, portfolio monitoring and proactive risk management. The discussion will explore how external risk information can support customer assessments and help credit teams identify emerging vulnerabilities, monitor exposures and make more informed decisions. The session will also explore the evolving credit management technology landscape, drawing on industry perspectives such as The Hackett Group's 2026 benchmarking matrix, which assesses 19 solutions in the market. This provides a broader context for discussing technology trends, implementation excellence and the ongoing transformation of credit management operations. Fair payment practices and practical workshops With payment behaviour and overdue receivables remaining important concerns for UK businesses, the Office of the Small Business Commissioner will contribute to a session on the Fair Payment Code and the Commercial Payments Bill. Participants will examine developments in payment practices and their implications for collections processes, dispute management and reporting. Two facilitated workshops will then focus on: Workshop 1 Collections Effectiveness: Prioritising overdue debt, improving customer engagement and applying consistent collection strategies. Workshop 2 Dispute Resolution & Payment Practices: Identifying the causes of disputes, reducing resolution delays and strengthening the management of payment commitments. The objective is to move beyond general recommendations and encourage participants to identify practical improvements they can apply within their own organisations. My DSO Manager Connect Leeds: Economic Pressures, Fair Payment Reform and Credit Risk 📅 Tuesday 17 November 2026 🕙 10:00-14:30 📍 PwC, Central Square, 29 Wellington Street, Leeds LS1 4DL Following Manchester, My DSO Manager Connect will continue in Leeds with a program examining the relationship between economic uncertainty, customer financial health, payment practices and operational performance. The Leeds workshop will bring together PwC, Company Watch, Switch2 Energy and the Office of the Small Business Commissioner, combining economic insight, customer experience, financial intelligence and peer-to-peer learning. Understanding the economic and regulatory environment PwC will provide an outlook on UK economic conditions, corporate distress, insolvency trends and working capital pressures. The session will explore how these developments may influence customer payment behaviour, credit exposure and financial decision-making as businesses prepare for 2027. The Office of the Small Business Commissioner will also address the government's fair payment agenda, including the Fair Payment Code and proposed reforms under the Commercial Payments Bill. For credit and finance professionals, these developments raise important questions about payment discipline, invoice disputes, accountability and the effectiveness of existing processes. Benchmarking, customer experience and financial intelligence The session will also explore the evolving credit management technology landscape, drawing on industry perspectives such as The Hackett Group's 2026 benchmarking matrix, which assesses 19 solutions in the market. This will provide a broader context for discussing technology trends, digital transformation and the capabilities supporting modern credit management and Order-to-Cash operations. AA The program will also feature Andrew Atkinson, Credit Manager at Switch2 Energy, who will share practical experience of implementing My DSO Manager, including operational challenges and lessons learned. GP Another key contribution will come from Girish Patel, Senior Account Manager at Company Watch, who will explore how financial intelligence can strengthen credit decisions and portfolio monitoring. Through indicators such as H-Score®, Probability of Distress (PoD®) and Vigilance monitoring, the discussion will demonstrate the value of combining financial health information with structured credit management processes. Turning information into actionable decisions The Leeds program will include two collaborative workshops designed around realistic business scenarios. Workshop 1 The first will address credit risk, customer exposure and prioritisation, challenging participants to evaluate payment behaviour, credit headroom, overdue balances and disputed receivables. Workshop 2 The second will focus on collections effectiveness, dispute resolution and cash conversion, exploring how operational performance indicators can help identify the obstacles preventing cash collection. These discussions will encourage delegates to compare approaches, challenge assumptions and identify practical actions to improve performance. Two Cities, One Objective: Advancing Credit Management Through Collaboration Although the Manchester and Leeds programs will address different challenges, they share a common objective: bringing credit professionals together to connect strategic insight with operational reality. The workshops reflect My DSO Manager's approach to supporting credit and finance teams through a combination of technology, business expertise and collaboration. By creating opportunities for direct exchanges between customers, practitioners, partners and industry specialists, My DSO Manager Connect aims to encourage more informed decisions, stronger processes and continuous improvement across the Order-to-Cash cycle. Both events will be facilitated by Luke Sculthorp FCICM, with contributions from the wider My DSO Manager team, including Noy McDonald and Jérémy Crux, who will connect the topics discussed with practical applications within the platform.
